In February 2010 I was invited to talk on Pecha Kucha night here in Oslo, and it turned out to be a great experience. In 6 minutes 40 seconds I presented my self and my work and I have got a lot of positive feedbacks after the event.

For those who haven’t heard about this before: Pecha Kucha, means “chitchat” in English, and its an event for young creative’s to show their work to the public. Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds – giving 6 minutes 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up. Pecha Kucha nights are held all over the world. On Saturday the 13th of February, I was invited to ”pimp up” jeans for the clothing brand Monki. The goal was to create a little more fuzz around Monkis Jeans collection witch is inspired by the 90s. Together with four other designers, I sat down round a big table, all filed with accessorise, clothes to cut from, glitter and glam, and used my creativity to style up the jeans. I must admit I am not so happy about the result, but at least I had a great day and lots of fun! The day ended with a party/exhibition filled with champagne, candy and music from the 90s.
